I'm A Celeb's Maura asked friend six-word question about Pete Wicks immediately after exit
Since I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! aired its final on Sunday night, there's been one big question on the minds of all fans - when will Maura Higgins and Pete Wicks officially get together? The Love Island star opened up about her romance with Strictly's Pete while in the jungle after the pair were rumoured to be dating, and now it's been revealed that Maura only had thoughts of him when she left the show last week.
As revealed by ITV ahead of I'm A Celeb's Coming Out special, which airs on Friday at 9pm, Maura had one big question for her friend as soon as she became the sixth celebrity to leave the jungle. In the special, Maura is seen asking her friend Talia as she left the show, "Is Pete still in the show?" referring to Pete being on Strictly Come Dancing.
While in a car to the I'm A Celebrity hotel, Maura said about Pete: "If you’re missing someone, you’re missing someone and it comes out. And I do, I miss him. Yeah, I really do miss him."

Pete was taking part in Strictly Come Dancing at the time with professional dancer Jowita Przystal, however during Sunday night's results show, he became the latest celeb to leave the competition and narrowly missed out on a place in the 2024 final. Meanwhile, Maura became the sixth celebrity to leave I'm A Celeb last Thursday along with Barry McGuigan following a double elimination, shocking fans who thought she might make it to the final.
While in the jungle, Maura opened up about her feeling for Pete, refusing to name him at first. "What's the point in getting them [the media] involved too soon, when you just don't know where it's gonna go, you know?" she told campmate GK Barry.
However, she later named him - and opened up about the pair's first date. "He wouldn't give up. I actually brought my friends with me and I was like 'See! It is a friendship date.' Then the next time, I went just me. We went out for oysters and wine."
Since arriving back in the UK, Maura has met up with Pete, to the delight of fans. In a cosy photo, Maura was seen smiling with a glass of wine in Me Hotel Strand, posing with her friends as Pete stood in the back of the picture. The get together took place on the same day she touched down from Oz at Heathrow airport.
