EastEnders' Lacey Turner shows off new home with stunning Christmas tree - ahead of having 3rd child
EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, who is expecting her third child next year, has shared a look at her new home, complete with a Christmas tree adorned with a large bow. The star, who is best known for her portrayal of Stacey Slater on the soap, posted a photo on Instagram of her decorated tree, featuring multicoloured decorations including a Rubik's cube, a glitterball, an ice cream cone and a butterfly. The tree is topped with a large bronze coloured bow, and features lots of lametta hanging from the branches.
The tree is positioned by an archway in her living room, and a cream faux fur bean bag, a cosy fireplace and a brown sofa can also be seen. On the walls are two pieces of art - a twist on the Full Metal Jacket movie poster, entitled Full Metal Twiggy by JJ Adams, and over the fireplace is Victoria Topping’s artwork Mother Love.
Her EastEnders costars rushed to comment on her festive display, with Natalie Cassidy, who plays Sonia, writing: “The bow is banging,” while Diane Parish, who plays Denise, commented: “Oooooooh!” along with a series of Christmas emojis. Balvinder Sopal, who stars as Suki, and Louisa Lytton, who has recently returned to the soap as Ruby, were also impressed with the bow on top of the tree, posting their approval.
Lacey announced in September that she is expecting her third child with husband Matt Kay in 2025, who will join five year old daughter Dusty and three year old son Trilby. In a heartwarming Instagram post uploaded on Monday, 30 September, the soap star shared the exciting news and she posted a snap of herself, her husband Matt and their two children Dusty, five, and three year old Trilby as they held onto a pregnancy scan.
In a series of two snaps, the family could be seen gathered on the beach in front of the sunset as they smiled for a photograph with the pregnancy scan. In one of the photos, Dusty and Trilby could sweetly be seen holding onto the scan. Captioning the snaps, doting mum Lacey wrote: “Aren’t we lucky….. @thekayoskids” alongside a string of heart emojis.
Back in 2021, Lacey spoke to OK! about expanding her family beyond two children. "I’d still have four. I would be happy with three and I’d be happy with two if this was our lot. We’re so lucky to have the two we’ve got, but I would definitely have more.”
