With an edgy short hairdo, well-honed physique and looks most women would kill for, it’s tough for Scarlett Johansson to look bad in anything. But the 32-year-old actress has hit a real style high note with her latest outfit.

Taking to the red carpet at the ‘Ghost in the Shell’ premiere in New York, Scarlett ensured all eyes were on her in a form-fitting, glittering Balmain number. Boasting both a plunging neckline and a thigh-high split, the star looked every inch the A-lister in the rainbow gown.

And to think she’s one of the rare few Hollywood female celebrities who doesn’t have a stylist.

The dress, from the brand’s spring 2017 ready-to-wear collection, isn’t yet available on Balmain’s site, but a similar style is up for grabs (if you’ve got a cool £1,600 knocking around).

It’s not the first time that French ‘It’ label Balmain, beloved by the likes of Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian, has dressed Scar Jo for the red carpet. The actress wore an asymmetric, teal dress for the film’s premiere in Japan a couple of weeks ago.

She also wore a pink and purple printed number in London in 2015, for the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ European premiere.

Other brands that the actress has favourited during the ‘Ghost in the Shell’ promo tour include LA-based luxe label Haney and Azzedine Alaïa, a brand founded by Tunisian-born couturier and shoe designer.
