Saturday Night Takeaway chaos as Ant McPartlin halted filming of final episode

The final episode of Saturday Night Takeaway was thrown into chaos as Ant McPartlin couldn't contain his laughter during rehearsals. The cheeky presenter was left in stitches by Jordan North's less-than-stellar singing and dancing, causing a pause in filming.

Jordan, the new voice on Capital FM, struggled to keep up with the beat, which led to a hilarious intervention where a Strictly Come Dancing choreographer had to teach him how to clap in time.

He shared the funny tale with Sian Welby and Chris Stark on their morning show, revealing: "I made the boys (Ant and Dec) promise me that I didn't have to sing...they did. I had to the sing at the end of the show."

Sian chimed in with a laugh, saying: "Chris if you did miss this, he sort of takes it on as a musical theatre role. And so he sort of speaks it."

As they watched a clip of Jordan's performance, Chris teased him about his unique approach: "It's not a chant!"

To which Jordan replied, admitting his nerves got the better of him: "Because I was nervous and I can't sing, so in rehearsal right on Friday, Ant couldn't stop, we had to stop one of the rehearsals because Ant couldn't stop laughing!

"He even said to a girl 'he can't even clap in time!' I had to get some choreographer who usually works on Strictly, to stop the rehearsal to show me how to clap in time. Because everyone was clapping and I was on beat behind them, honestly. I have no rhythm at all."

After the final curtain fell on the last ever Saturday Night Takeaway, Ant and Dec threw an epic wrap party that quickly became the talk of the town this weekend.

The guest list was star-studded, with ITV's finest including Simon Cowell, Alison Hammond, Davina McCall, Rylan Clark, and Girls Aloud, who all joined the celebration of the duo's landmark 20th series backstage at White City.

Fighting back tears during their heartfelt goodbye, Ant and Dec expressed their gratitude for being part of our Saturday nights for two decades.

Ant shared with the audience: "Saturday Night Takeaway is the kind of show Dec and I watched every Saturday growing up, so it's been an honour and a privilege to have made the show and to have been part of your Saturday nights for over 20 years."

Dec chimed in with his own sentiments: "When we started this back in 2002, we thought we'd be lucky if we got to do this for maybe a couple of years, so what's happened has honestly been beyond our wildest dreams.

"We have truly adored every second of making the show, but there's one thing we've never ever forgotten, and that's the fact it's not our show it's your show. So we'd like to say a massive thank you to you, our incredible audience."
