Rylan Clark showed off a dramatic new look as he gave fans a glimpse of his natural ginger hair after revealing that he was undergoing “a reset”. The TV host, who is famously known for his jet-black hair, decided to mix things up and showed off a strikingly different appearance in a new selfie.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, 30 June, 35-year-old Rylan showcased his stunning natural beauty and ginger-hued hair in a selfie, while his darker toned full eyebrows and beard provided a stark contrast to the new look.

Captioning the post, the BBC Radio 2 presenter wrote: "Stripped colour from my hair to give it a reset. For anyone wondering this is what I look like with no colour in and no makeuppppp."

In response to the snap, the TV personality's Instagram followers quickly flooded the comments section with compliments and messages of support. His BBC Radio 2 co-worker Sally Boazman, affectionately dubbed Sally Traffic by listeners, commented: "I knew the real Rylan was under there somewhere! ! ! You look stunning.", reports the Daily Star.

Meanwhile Loose Women presenter Katie Piper called him "youthful", while Dame Kelly Holmes gushed over his "lovely eyes". Atomic Kitten member Natasha Hamilton also gave her approval as she commented "Big Ginger Love."

The former X Factor star's transformation comes after he opened up about his experience with stroke-like symptoms amid his mental health crisis following his split from former husband Dan Neal in 2021. Speaking on the Great Company with Jamie Laing podcast, Rylan revealed that he'd lost his speech and sight temporarily.

"I lost my speech. I lost my vision for a little bit like it was all really just ... it was like having a really bad stroke. It was just so bizarre. And yeah, it took me months to go back to work," he explained.

During his appearance on the podcast, Rylan, who explained that took four or five months off of work, also expressed his regret about how he dealt with the situation. He continued: "So yeah, it was, I mean ... I needed to do it. And I need to start again. And I needed to reset myself.

"But the only regret I've got from that is that I wish I'd never stopped and I've just dealt with it in a different way. But I didn't. And then it was out of my control."
