Rylan Clark confesses he's 'in a state' over TV moment with Rob Rinder

Rylan Clark had viewers in stitches as he gagged over a cow's stomach on his BBC travel show, declaring he was about to "be sick on the table". The telly favourite is jet-setting across Italy with his pal Rob Rinder, soaking up the nation's finest art and culture for the series Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour.

In their latest escapade, they hit a local eatery to try some traditional food. But when cow's stomach appeared on the menu, Rylan was adamant: "I won't be eating it."

"I ain't eating foot, I ain't eating stomach and I ain't eating a***hole," he insisted.

While Rob was keen to dive in, Rylan could hardly bear to look. Clutching his head, he heaved as Rob coaxed him to have a taste, reports the Daily Star. "Can I have a minute? " Rylan pleaded. "I don't know if I can put this in my mouth Rob, I really don't know if I can. I think I'll be sick, I will be sick on the table."

Eventually, he braved the smallest nibble, pinching his nose shut as he chewed and complained: "I don't like the texture! " Rob couldn't help but chuckle, urging him on: "Just eat the damn thing! " as Rylan continued to retch. "You are so bonkers!"

That tiny taste was all Rylan could manage, quickly setting his fork aside. "I can't have any more of that," he admitted. "I'm sorry, I'm in a state." In jest, Rob quizzed: "Are we not having liver?"

"You can f*** off! " Rylan shot back.

Viewers were left in stitches, admitting they laughed so hard at Rylan's ordeal they were crying. "The cow's stomach tasting scene had me in tears," one viewer tweeted.

Another shared: "Crying with laughter at Rylan trying to eat cow's stomach in Florence. Poor Rob! " Meanwhile, another fan suggested Rylan's reaction was pure gold, hinting he'd be a scream on a certain jungle-based reality show. "Rylan's reaction to the cow stomach meal really makes me wish to see him do I'm A Celebrity," they commented.

"He would be hilarious during the food Bushtucker Trials."

Rob and Rylan's three part travel series has seen the pair follow in the footsteps of 19th-century poet Lord Byron as they find out more about Italy's rich culture to mark the 200th anniversary of the poet's death. Together they travelled to Venice, Florence and Rome, and even shared a room at one of the locations, as Rylan told This Morning:

"In Venice we stayed in separate accommodation. Then in Florence it is the same accommodation but separate rooms and by Rome I am waking up with him on top of me like 'Get off me barrister!'

"We started this process as mates and we've finished it as actual genuine friends and that's probably one of the best things to come out of it," he added.

Their friendship has led to rumours of romance, but Rylan and Rob have both confirmed they are just friends following their Italian trip.
