Romantics can bag a bottle of Britain's cheapest prosecco from Asda this Valentine's Day
In a nod to Valentine’s Day celebrations, Asda has stocked up on countless bottles of Britain’s cheapest prosecco.
Yes, for those on a budget the supermarket giant is offering customers the chance to bag its award-winning Yellow Label Prosecco for a discounted price tag of just £5.
And the chain claims that it’s selling the cheapest bottle of fizz on the market, as competitors Tesco and Sainsbury’s are trailing behind with budget prosecco ranges starting from £5.65.
But make sure to be quick, as the deal ends on February 14th and we predict a sell-out in the run-up to the most romantic date in the calendar.
Asda Wine Buyer, Lauren Venters, said: “Brits’ love for bubbles shows no sign of slowing down, with over 3.5 million glasses-worth of fizz expected to be sold for Valentine’s Day this year. At Asda we want to help our customers share more love for less this year with our bargain Prosecco deal.”
According to the website, the sparkly bevvy is renowned for its ‘zesty lemon, pear and apple fruit flavours’ and has already amassed countless positive reviews online.
