Rihanna's best fashion photos: The red carpet risk-taker's top style moments

Unlike some celebrities, Rihanna doesn’t have a defined style. Don’t ever expect to see her wearing one embroidered Gucci dress after another.

Instead, the Barbados-born singer likes to mix it up and be playful with her wardrobe. In the past, she’s worn everything from frothy Giambattista Valli dresses to cascading Ralph & Russo gowns and sharp Stella McCartney ensembles. There’s definitely no playing it safe for this red carpet risk-taker.

Rihanna doesn’t shy away from forward-thinking fashion – even styles that put her figure on display. Her see-through Adam Selman column dress, worn to the CFDA awards in 2014, proved the sartorial icon is game for almost anything when it comes for fashion. And the Fenty Beauty founder shut down the red carpet at the 2017 Met Gala in a creation by Comme des Garcons that was something of an ‘architectural wonder,‘ according to Vogue.

RiRi’s a great one for supporting local talent. During a trip to the UK for her Harvey Nichols Fenty Beauty launch, the star turned to London Fashion Week designer Molly Goddard for her look. The result was a custom layered purple mini dress that ensures the singer was the talk of the town. And for the British Fashion Awards, Stella McCartney designed Rihanna’s look.
