Real life soap couple give fans look inside plush home they share after 3yrs of dating
Hollyoaks' Nikki Sanderson has given fans an insight into her life at home with fellow soap star partner Anthony Quinlan in a hilarious video. The pair, who are believed to have first met back in 2011 when they both starred in Hollyoaks, have been an item since 2021.
Nikki, 40, is best known for beginning her acting career in Coronation Street as Candice Stowe, before taking on her current role of Maxine Minniver in Hollyoaks. Meanwhile Anthony, 39, appeared as Gilly Roach in Hollyoaks from 2005 until 2011, before joining Emmerdale for a seven-year stint as Pete Barton two years later.
Now, the soap couple live together - and have given fans an entertaining peek at their home life in a sketch posted to Instagram. In the video, the pair are getting ready to leave the house when Anthony tells Nikki: "Actually, I just need the toilet, two seconds."

While Anthony runs up the stairs, Nikki sits down on the sofa to wait for him before falling asleep. After the words 'one eternity later' pop up on the screen, Anthony is seen re-entering the living room to tell Nikki: "Right love, I'm ready."
However, he finds that Nikki is now a skeleton. Posting the video to Instagram, Nikki wrote: "Can anyone relate?" alongside a faeces emoji.
The couple have also given fans a look inside their lovely home over the years, with the Hollyoaks stars showing off their gorgeous Christmas tree in one post and their treadmill in another. Fans also got a peek at the pair's bedroom, complete with dark blue walls, in one of Nikki's selfies.
Earlier this year, Nikki celebrated her 40th birthday, with the couple heading on holiday to Mallorca to mark the milestone. Posting photos of their dreamy getaway on Instagram, Nikki wrote that the trip was "just what" she and Anthony needed.
“Happy Monday,” she wrote. “A little break is just what we needed, lovely birthday treat for us both. Here’s to turning 40 well for me anyway… one more year for you @anthonyquinny #holiday #happyholiday #bankholiday #vacation #sun #happy #love #sunshine #chill #bikini #pinkbikini #mirrorselfie #40”.
Anthony previously opened up about his romance with Nikki, telling OK! in 2022 that he's "really happy" with the soap star. "I've known Nik for a good few years – I said a good few years, probably 20 years now, it's around that," he said. "I think there were rumours we actually bonded or started dating over a gym session or something, there's no truth in that believe me there isn't!
"As much as they like to make a bit of a romance in that there's no truth in that what so ever. It was more the traditional I slid into the DMs and we went on a date and the rest is history."
Nikki previously dated Greg Whitehurst for five years until splitting in 2020. In an interview with The Sun at the time, Nikki said: "Sadly Greg and I have decided to separate. We remain friends and wish the best for each other in the future."
