You better check your rare coins now as this specific 50p is worth loads.

A TikTok user is encouraging Brits to check their change as a certain design could sell for £2,000. According to @CoinCollectingWizard, who amassed a following of 155,200, if you have these coins, they're "worth serious money".

In a recent video, he explained: "The 2017 Benjamin Bunny 50p is usually just worth face value unless you have a rare rotation error version."

He continued: "The error version of the coin has the Queen's head printed facing the wrong direction. When a coin is flipped over, the Queen's head should be facing to the left but on a rotation error coin, this would be different. Around £30 you can get for this rare coin."

"Approximately 2.2 million of the Athletics 50p coin was minted and released into circulation in 2011. But this earlier version was minted in 2009 and is more valuable to collectors. If you have this coin dated 2009, then you've struck gold. It can sell for £250 plus."

In his final example, the poster discussed the 2011 Aquatics 50p error coin from the London 2012 Olympics collection. He added: "If you find one with the swimming lines over the face, it could be worth a small fortune."

In an exciting revelation, the poster stated: "A small handful of this original design entered circulation, but it was then adapted quickly to show the face above the water. With so few of the real design out there, it's meant the coin's value has been pushed up significantly to £2,000."

As soon as this insider info was dropped, the video began buzzing with hundreds of likes and shares. One comment read: "I've got a few of them," and another chimed in with: "Only worth it if someone pays that for it."
