Turns out Tom Hardy isn't the only famous Brit scissor sweeping all before him in the world of competitive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. UK rapper Tinie Tempah is also a denizen of the dojo, and recently picked up a gold medal at the English BJJ Open.

Tempah, 35, whose real name is Patrick Chukwuemeka Okugwu, announced his competition win via Instagram, where he was congratulated by everyone from UFC star Conor McGregor to David Beckham's PT and BJJ black belt Bobby Rich.

According to Jits Magazine, Tempah won his gold medal in the 'Master 1 Blue Belt Lightweight Division', where he defeated one opponent 4-0 on points to claim the title.

Tempah has been training BJJ for years and currently holds a blue belt in the sport. He previously revealed that he was a member of an exclusive BJJ club where he trains alongside Tom Hardy.

When asked by The Metro if he'd ever been up for a competitive fight against the Venom actor, he said that he was definitely up for the challenge and was also the person to put your money on.

‘If it was for a good cause, then why not? If he is up for it, I am,’ Tempah said. 'And I have to say I would win,’ he added.
