Queen Camilla Wears a Navy and White Collared Dress to the Ascot Racecourse
Queen Camilla stepped out in a smart navy and white look for her second solo outing this week.
The queen consort attended the QIPCO British Champions Day this morning at the Ascot racecourse, where she judged the Best Turned Out and presented the prizes to the winners of this year's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, the mile race that was named in honor of the late monarch back in 1955.
For the event, Queen Camilla wore her second navy outfit this week, comprised of a midi-length dress and matching coat by Bruce Oldfield, which featured a white bodice and a two-toned collar. She finished the look with black sheer tights, black kitten heels, and pearl jewelry including drop earrings and a four-strand necklace with a diamond clasp. She also carried a square, top-handle purse and wore a navy Philip Treacy hat with a white sash and wide, see-through brim.
After presenting the trophy to winning connection Bayside Boy and jockey Tom Marquand, Her Majesty also presented the QIPCO British Champions Series Hall of Fame medals to Lady Cecil (who is receiving the award on behalf of her late husband Sir Henry Cecil) and retired jockey Willie Carson.
Though King Charles did not attend the races, his horse King's Lynn is expected to run in the championship's Sprint Stakes later in the afternoon.
Last Thursday, Queen Camilla attended her first solo engagement since Queen Elizabeth's death last month, visiting the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital to meet with independent domestic violence advisers (IDVAs) and staff working in the front lines to aid victims of domestic abuse. For the outing, she chose a navy midi dress with wide sleeves, a V-shaped neckline, and decorative white stitching.
