Priyanka Chopra has denied claims that she visited the Duchess of Sussex and baby Archie, while in the UK.

Earlier this week it was reported that the actress, 36, and her husband Nick Jonas, 26, stopped by the Sussexes’ home in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor during a trip to the UK.

It was also claimed the newlyweds picked out gifts from jewellers Tiffany & Co for the royal tot.

But Priyanka has said the reports of a visit are not true.

She tweeted: “While these are great gift ideas... this story is untrue, and I was actually in town for work. I hope whoever this “source” is starts checking their facts more often [sic].”

Following her and Nick’s attendance at Cannes Film Festival, Priyanka travelled to the UK and even went to one of Mariah Carey’s concerts at Royal Albert Hall during her stay.

There were rumours that Meghan and Priyanka had fallen out, after having both missed a significant event in each other’s lives.

The duchess was absent from Priyanka and Nick’s opulent wedding in India just before Christmas. Priyanka then didn’t attend Meghan’s baby shower in New York in February.

But the Baywatch star put the ‘feud’ rumours to bed herself during an interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in March.

When Priyanka was asked if she was upset about Meghan skipping her wedding, she replied: “Oh my god, no, it’s not true.”

The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6 and is currently on maternity leave from her royal duties.
