Prince Louis steals the show! Cutest moments from the adorable young Royal during this year's Trooping the Colour

After an emotional day following the second Trooping the Colour parade of King Charles III ’s reign, it’s a good time to look back at the moments when the cheekiest member of the Royal family, Prince Louis, made us all smile.

The event took place on Saturday 15 June in the rain, but the soggy English weather didn’t dampen the spirits of the Prince and Princess of Wales’s youngest son.

The six year old travelled in a carriage with his mother, Kate, and two siblings, George and Charlotte, and in typical fashion, stole the show. He was seen patiently observing the parade for a little while, before getting distracted by what appeared to be a curtain cord in the building.

Later on, as the parade continued, Louis was spotted letting out a huge yawn while watching from the window of the Duke of Wellington’s former office.

Body language expert Adrianne Carter exclusively told OK!: "Louis is getting bored; he's starting to mess with things. This is a sign that Louis is still the lovely and bright personality that we've come to recognise. Louis's big yawn was unspotted by Kate so he was able to give it his all!"

He also danced along delightedly to the bagpipers, during the march of the Scots Guards to Highland Laddie.

Adrianne responded to this, saying: "He looks like he's enjoying himself a bit more! Hands behind his back is something he's obviously been told to do, maybe to help him stop fidgeting. It looks like Charlotte spotted his little dance and told him to calm it down maybe."

According to expert lip reader Nicola Hickling, Princess Charlotte seemed to tell her frolicking brother: "You have to stop doing that. Watch the parade", to which he defiantly responded, "I won't". Upon further admonishment from Charlotte, who seems to add: "Do as you're told", Louis boldly retorted: "Nope."

It wasn’t his only cheeky moment – Louis was also spotted making funny faces and trying to pull up a window while he waited with his mother for the traditional Red Arrows flypast.

And on the Buckingham Palace balcony, Princess Charlotte was once again seen to be telling her younger brother off. As the national anthem played, the young princess, nine, appeared to tell her six year old brother to "get his hands out of his pockets", as they stood on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, flanked by their older brother, Prince George , 10, and their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales.

It’s not the first time that Louis has cheered up the celebrations with his cheeky behaviour. In 2019, when he was just a year old and too young to make his debut on the Buckingham Palace balcony, he was seen peering through a window watching the celebrations.

He also couldn’t stifle a yawn during the King’s coronation last year, and most memorably of all, he yelled while covering his ears during a flyover for the Platinum Jubilee in 2022. Here's to little Louis' next Royal outing...
