Prince Harry revealed that Meghan Markle had a “fantastic” Christmas with the Royal Family.

Speaking on the radio during his guest editorship of BBC Radio 4‘s ‘Today’ programme, Harry added that his new fiancée “really enjoyed” her few days with Britain’s most famous family.

Harry and Meghan joined the likes of the Queen and Prince Philip and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the monarch’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

As is tradition, the family were photographed walking to church on Christmas Day with Meghan wearing a £986 wool coat and Kate opting for a tartan Miu Miu number.

When questioned by ‘Today’ presenter Sarah Montague, Harry also revealed that he and Meghan had indeed stayed with Kate, William, George and Charlotte at the Cambridge’s former Anmer Hall home.

“We had great fun staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running round with the kids. Christmas was fantastic,” the 33-year-old said.

“The family loved having [Meghan] there. There’s always that family part of Christmas (where) there’s always that work element there as well, and I think together we had an amazing time.”

He admitted that “plenty” of family traditions had to be explained to the former actress, adding: “I think we’ve got one of the biggest families that I know of, and every family is complex as well.”

“She’s done an absolutely amazing job. She’s getting in there and it’s the family I suppose that she’s never had.”

Harry also joked about his potential wedding guest list, refusing to say whether the Obamas were on it: “We haven’t even put the invite or the guest list together. Who knows if [Barack’s] going to be invited or not? I wouldn’t want to ruin that surprise.”

Looks like we’ll have to wait until May to see who will show up at the biggest wedding of 2018.
