Prince George's cheeky cousin Savannah Phillips' naughty gesture during Trooping the Colour

Many of the late Queen's 13 great-grandchildren share a close bond, often seen sharing giggles and conversations during public events like family weddings and Trooping the Colour.

All eyes will be on some of the royal children on Saturday, 15 June, as they attend the second Trooping the Colour parade of King Charles' reign which celebrates his official birthday.

One young royal who seems to relish these family gatherings is Savannah Phillips, Princess Anne's eldest granddaughter. Born to Peter Phillips and his former wife Autumn on December 29, 2010, at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, Savannah has a knack for making royal occasions unforgettable.

Whether she's playfully silencing Prince George on the Buckingham Palace balcony or sending him into fits of laughter at Princess Eugenie's wedding, Savannah's antics are always a highlight.

Despite her royal connections, Savannah and her sister Isla lead a life away from the limelight, tucked away in their Gloucestershire home on the Gatcombe Estate. The sisters are rarely in the public eye, but they do make appearances alongside their royal cousins.

During the 2018 Trooping the Colour, Savannah and Prince George were seen having a blast, clapping and laughing throughout their family's appearance on the historic Buckingham Palace balcony.

As soon as the palace doors swung open, Savannah and her younger sister Isla dashed out to show their plane-spotting books to Princess Charlotte. As the flypast began, Prince George made his way to the front, squeezing himself between Savannah and Isla.

Throughout the event, the four royal children – Princess Charlotte, Savannah, Prince George, and Isla – were all visibly thrilled by the different planes, especially the iconic Red Arrows that left trails of red, white, and blue across London's skies.

When the National Anthem started echoing from the palace courtyard, Savannah didn't seem too impressed with Prince George's singing skills, covering his mouth with her hand to stop him from joining in. She then proceeded to 'shhhh' him, giving the camera a slightly menacing - but equally hilarious - glare.

This isn't the first time Savannah's antics have had her younger cousins in stitches. At Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's 2018 wedding, Savannah served as a bridesmaid while Prince George took on the role of a pageboy.

Before the procession up the aisle at St George's Chapel, Windsor, the pair were seen laughing at a shared joke with George even having to cover his mouth in order to stifle his laughter.

On Friday 14 June it was confirmed that Kate Middleton will appear at Trooping the Colour alongside the Royal Family. The Princess of Wales released a personal message, in which she said she is making “good progress” in her cancer treatment.
