Prince George's most sought after outfits and where to buy them
Forget the ‘Kate Effect’ for one moment, Prince George has had an undeniable influence on the fashion industry in the space of just four years.
And it’s hardly surprising, as the young royal made his debut foray into the industry when he was just a day old.
Seven million people across the globe tuned in to watch the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge emerge from the Lindo Wing, a tiny prince swaddled up in their arms, ready to make his world-famous debut.
And within a matter of hours, the label responsible for his very first blanket, Aden + Anais, received over 10,000 orders for the bird-printed shawl. It wasn’t long until the website consequently crashed and once it was up and running again, the brand reported a 2,000 percent increase in site visits.
And this marked the beginning of the almighty ‘Prince George Effect’.
According to Forbes, the four-year-old now has an economic contribution of approximately £2.4 billion.
And it’s hardly surprising, as the prince’s every cuddle, crawl and cheeky smile has been photographed and shared across the globe.
