Prince Charles appeared to compliment a model on her ‘curves’ at an event at St James Palace last night.
He was chatting to model Neelam Gill, 22, who was wearing a stunning black dress with lace overlay at a Prince’s Trust charity event.
Video footage of the exchange seems to capture Prince Charles telling the model “You’ve got to keep the curves, you see,” although it isn’t entirely clear if it was the model he was referring to.
Speaking about the meeting afterwards Neelam told Mail Online that she had met Prince Charles just two days earlier at a dinner for the British Asian Trust, and he had rememberd that she had been dressed all in red that night.
“I couldn’t believe he had remembered what I wore and he admired my dress tonight,” she told the publication. “It was actually a last minute substitution as the dress I had been sent to wear wouldn’t fit over my chest – which is quite unusual for me!”
The reception, to mark the success of the Prince’s Trust’s Invest In Futures campaign and celebrate the first anniversary of the partnership between the Prince’s Trust and L’Oreal, was also attended by Dame Helen Mirren and Cheryl.
The new mum wore a £930 satin, black slip dress by Galvan for the occasion.
The singer, who gave birth to son Bear with former One Direction singer Liam Payne last March, has previously credited working out in her living room for helping her regain her pre-baby body.
“Tracy Anderson has a streaming service and it’s heaven sent,” Cheryl told Vogue.
“I have a space in my house where I heat up the room and then just stream it and follow that,” she continued.
“I’ve always done Tracy Anderson. When I lived in the States, I went to Brentwood, to her studio, but the streaming is brilliant, so easy and you can do it in your living room.”
The 34-year-old Prince’s Trust Ambassador also sparked engagement rumours by sporting a large diamond sparkler on her left hand.
Dame Helen Mirren, who is also an ambassador for the charity, looked typically youthful in a floor-length black evening dress.
Last week, she wowed fans by posing topless for a shot for a cancer charity campaign.
It isn’t the first time that Cheryl and Dame Helen Mirren have appeared together recently. Back in October the stylish duo also both rocked the catwalk at the L’Oreal Paris show.
