The Duchess of Sussex channelled one of her signature looks as she and the Duke attended a gala performance at the Natural History Museum in London on Tuesday night.

Meghan, who is around seven months pregnant, wrapped up in custom version of a Calvin Klein Resort 2019 collection roll-neck dress.

She brought back her cream Amanda Wakeley ‘Crombie’ coat, first worn for the Commonwealth Service last year and teamed her outfit with olive accessories, including her Ralph Lauren ‘Ricky’ clutch bag.

Meghan, 37, styled her hair into an elegant Audrey Hepburn-esque chignon and added her Vanessa Tugendhaft clover earrings as a finishing touch.

Harry and Meghan watched a special performance of The Wider Earth, a critically acclaimed theatrical production about the young Charles Darwin’s expedition on HMS Beagle.

The gala was in support of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust (QCT) and the production’s official charitable partner, The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy (QCC).

The QCC is a network of forest conservation initiatives throughout the 53 countries of the Commonwealth. During their royal tour of the South Pacific, the Duke and Duchess unveiled six dedications to the QCC.

This is the first time Meghan has stepped out in public since her father Thomas Markle shared excerpts from a personal letter, in which the Duchess criticised him for his behaviour.

Sharing excerpts from the five-page handwritten letter with The Mail On Sunday, the former lighting director claims he kept the letter out of the public “out of respect to Meghan”.

George Clooney is the latest star (and friend of the royal couple) to have spoken out in defence of Meghan.
