Pregnant Charlotte Crosby reveals heartbreaking death of 'most loving family member' on Boxing Day
Charlotte Crosby has announced the tragic death of her grandmother on Boxing Day. Sharing a picture of her dad's mother and her baby daughter Alba, the Geordie Shore star penned: “We lost an amazing woman last night, kind, wonderful and the most loving family member.
“Always incredibly proud of me and my achievements! And always the very first to boast about me. I will never forget how much she supported me so dearly! We will miss you so much, She loved little Alba so much!” Charlotte's dad Gary also shared his own heartbreaking tribute, announcing it would have been his mum's 80th birthday the day after her death.
“My Mam would have been 80 today, she passed away last night," he wrote in his own heartbreaking Instagram post. “I’m swept away with grief and sadness. I was very close to my Mam, she was just the best Mam anyone could have.

"She loved Christmas and she made ours when we were kids so very special and memorable," he continued. "A kind, generous and gentle little lady. A mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Also a true friend to many that she knew."
Gary then revealed that his mother had problems in her later life "with terrible arthritis and challenging mental health, but she never lost her friendly smile and loving nature.”
He then continued: "My Mam was kind, thoughtful and always nice to people; honest, hard working and loved her family/friends so very much. Things in life we should all aspire to do. Qualities that make the world a better place." Concluding, he emotionally wrote: “Mam, you were so much more than everything.”
In the post, Gary shared a range of pictures with his mother, ranging throughout the years with a number of family members including Charlotte and Alba.
On her father's post, Charlotte commented: "What really beautiful words," alongside a red heart and a crying emoji. "love you so much."
The death of Charlotte's grandmother comes just over two years after the death of her Nana Jean. Alongside an adorable video, the star wrote: "Heartbroken doesn’t come close to how I’m feeling. The love of my life and the light of my life.
"From a little girl until now I have adored every inch of you. My brave strong nana. My beautiful nana. You were there when I entered the world and I was there when you took your last breath and left," before revealing she named her daughter Alba Jean after her.
Charlotte is expecting her second child next month, with her fiancé Jake Ankers.
