Pollini Lands in Formentera for the Summer Season

ON THE BEACH: The Italian footwear and leather goods brand Pollini is bringing its charm to Spain.

For the upcoming summer season, the brand is customizing the “Café del Lago” restaurant located in La Savina, Formentera. Every detail has been decorated  with the brand’s P crown logo, from the seats and cushions to the lanterns, menu and table settings.

By combining natural fabrics and neutral tones it blends its aesthetic with the setting of the island. The key element of the project is the “Pattino,” the signature catamaran from the Romagna Riviera, available to customers who wish to enjoy an aperitif offshore. Pollini is based in San Mauro Pascoli, a key Italian footwear hub in the Emilia Romagna region.

To celebrate the project, Pollini has launched a pouch crafted in raffia and calfskin available in two colors, tan and black, available exclusively from Monday on the brand’s website.

The brand, which turned 70 last year, celebrated the anniversary with the launch of a capsule featuring some of its signature designs, from the Cavaliere with deadstock fur details with a pixelated effect to the moccasin with the signature “cremino” sole in different colored layers, and the Daytona model revisited as a platform sandal or ankle boot.

Largely distributed at wholesale, there are 10 Pollini boutiques in Italy in cities such as Milan and Venice, and four stores abroad. The brand also produces accessories for parent company Aeffe.
