Peter Andre opens up on huge parenting regret as dad of five amid latest challenge
Following a few busy weeks of work where he performed in Dubai then flew to Cyprus to continue filming with Cork Films for a brand new drama, Peter Andre is looking forward to some quiet time at home. But as the 51 year old singer prepares for school runs, dinner making and nappy changes, he's opened up on the one thing he hopes to do more of - putting his phone away and be present.
Also in his exclusive column, Peter issued some all-important advice to contestants heading into the I'm A Celeb jungle, sends his love to Paris Fury and puts plans in place for son Theo's birthday...
Family focus
As things have been so busy at work, it’s a welcome change of pace making the family dinners, doing the school runs, changing nappies… You name it, I’m on it – and I enjoy every minute.

I get to do so many wonderful things in my career but one of the things I’m learning when I’m at home is just to be present. I’m trying to put my phone down as much as possible and really switch off from distractions to give my family the attention they deserve.
Jungle rumblings
It’s that time of year again when I’m A Celeb is getting ready to hit our screens. If I was to give contestants any advice it would be about food. So many people would say, “Oh, eat loads because you’ll be so hungry when you get in there.” But I’d say the exact opposite.
If you’re not used to lack of food, your body will go into shock whereas if you limit yourself slowly, it’ll be easier. I wish I had done that – the constant hunger was definitely worse than the Bushtucker Trials and there are definitely no secret meals that are given out if you’re hungry.
Fall guy
Chris Martin took a real tumble through a trapdoor when performing with Coldplay in Australia. Here’s hoping he’s OK – Chris is an amazing artist and performer. It’s just a horrible feeling when it happens – I’ve been there and it’s not nice. But the main thing is the person doesn’t get hurt.
It looked like Chris took it well and just got up and kept performing, but you can tell it would have been a sore fall. Adrenaline would have got him through – and the warmth of the great Australian crowd cheering him on, of course.
My boy's birthday
I can’t believe my youngest son Theo is about to turn eight. Where have the years gone? I truly think the golden ages are between four and eight – they’re just full of imagination and are so loving. When they get older, like Millie’s age, which is also beautiful, that’s when they start to become that little bit more independent and become focused on school.
For his birthday, Theo has asked for Robux for Roblox. As for the rest of his presents, he’ll need to wait and find out what we’ve got him.
Love to Paris
Paris Fury has spoken out about having a miscarriage and I think she’s so brave for doing that. She is opening up the conversation for others going through something similar and saying, “You’re not alone.”
Paris definitely seems to be a fantastic mum who works so hard. I applaud her for talking openly about such a difficult subject.
