Maura Higgins baffles fans who expected her on I'm A Celeb - as she vapes on London shopping spree
I'm A Celeb fans had expected her to touch down in Australia ahead of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here - but Maura Higgins proved she isn't going anywhere... yet. The star has been spotted in London enjoying her last few days of freedom with the Love Island star looked stunning in a button up grey mini dress and elegant heels as she did a spot of shopping - and vaping.
Maura was seen with two full bags, one for Space NK, and later enjoyed a lavish lunch at Claridges with two celebrity pals. Maura caught up with fellow Lover Islander Olivia Attwood - who was an I'm A Celeb star herself - and TOWIE’s Chloe Lewis, before taking time out to vape outside the swanky hotel where she chatted with two men outside.
Olivia looked smart for her lunch with Maura wearing rounded glasses with a blazer and bright yellow handbag. Olivia also took part in I’m A Celebrity two years ago. Olivia wasn’t in the show for long though as she was forced to withdraw from for medical reasons shortly after arriving. That year, Jill Scott won the series with Owen Warner and Matt Hancock coming in second and third place.

Whilst the other I’m A Celeb contestants have already started landing in Australia, Maura is suspected to be making a late entry. Out of all of the rumoured contestants, Maura and Reverend Richard Coles are the only two who haven’t been spotted in Australia but it’s thought they’ll set off very soon.
Olivia and Chloe aren’t the only people Maura has seen before jetting off, she also went on a night out with her rumoured boyfriend, Pete Wicks, who's currently appearing on Strictly.
Maura wore a black velvet waistcoat and white ruffled skirt, paired with black stilettos and a matching clutch bag while Pete wore a black suit and polo neck. The couple however did maintain their distance as they arrived at the London Palladium.
Maura has previously spilled the tea on her blossoming romance with Pete during a candid chat on the We Need To Talk podcast, hosted by Paul Brunson. She gushed about their genuine connection since becoming pals post-Love Island 2019, and how they've recently taken things up a notch. "We just get on very, very well. I adore him, he's an amazing person," Maura shared.
She also revealed their unique bond over humour: "Do you know what's so weird? We met very soon after me coming off Love Island and we just instantly clicked. Our humour is the same. It's like that sick, dark humour. It's very abusive. We abuse each other. Very nasty, it's hilarious," she said with a laugh.
