The One Show's Alex Jones halts show to avoid The Traitors 'spoiler'
The One Show's Alex Jones was forced to leave the set and issue a warning for a The Traitors 'spoiler' on Friday's show.
The hit BBC game show will be airing its highly-anticipated final tonight, Friday 24 January, and as such, The One Show discussed all things The Traitors.
This included Thursday's episode, where Freddie was banished and revealed as a Traitor while fellow Traitor Charlotte was selected by Frankie as part of her Seer power.
However, before chat could get underway, Alex, 47, was quick to halt the show as she admitted she still hadn't watched Thursday's episode and briefly left the studio so she wouldn't hear any spoilers.

Alex said: "Now, be warned, if you haven't watched last night's episode, like me, go and get yourself a glass of wine... come back in around two minutes."
To which she covered her ears and left the set to which co-host Roman Kemp said: "Go, go, go! Are you gone? Are you gone? Play it!"
After the segment, which featured Richie Anderson speaking to all of the banished players so far, Alex returned to set where she had her face covered with a script.
Roman was quick to tap her on the shoulder to which Alex asked: "Is it done?", adding: "I can't wait for tonight's episode, I'm so excited we've got a platter of sushi, I know, we never have sushi!"
It comes as Thursday's show saw newly-recruited Traitors Freddie and Charlotte choose to murder Leanne, who was protected by her Shield.
However, this was all part of Charlotte's plan to get Freddie banished as Leanne had confided in her that she had a Shield whereas Freddie didn't know.
So by selecting Leanne to be murdered, the contestant knew it had to be either Freddie or Alexander, who is in fact a Faithful, as Traitors as they were the only two who didn't know she had a Shield.
To make matters even more explosive, during the day's challenge, the contestants battled it out to win the Seer power, which gives one player the privilege of learning the true identity of one of their peers.
Later in the episode, Freddie was banished with five votes, where he revealed he was in fact a Traitor. Meanwhile, Frankie was the lucky player to win the Seer power and chose Charlotte to reveal her true position in the game.
The episode ended on a huge cliffhanger and viewers will have to tune in on Friday night to see if Charlotte is exposed and who will win the show.
The One Show continues on weekdays at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer while The Traitors final airs at 8:30pm tonight on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
