The Traitors fans share heartbreaking Alexander theory ahead of final as 'people's princess' set to go
There are still five contestants left in The Traitors but fans of the BBC gameshow believe they know one player's fate.
On Thursday night (January 23), Claudia Winkleman introduced a major twist to the game, ahead of tonight's final. She explained that after the day's missions, the competitor who earned the most coins would be crowned as the 'Seer.'
At the end of the episode, the host unveiled that Francesca had won the title. As the 'Seer', she was given the power to invite one other player to a private meeting where they must uncover whether they are a Faithful or Traitor. In an unexpected twist, she selected Charlotte, the final Traitor, to expose her true identity.
As the duo is set to meet face-to-face in tonight's episode, fans of the BBC hit show have taken to Reddit to discuss their 'hopes' for one contestant.

In a Reddit thread titled 'Alexander has really grown on me,' one user expressed that although they did not initially like the diplomat, they have grown fond of him and "hope he wins."
However, viewers are not convinced he will claim the victory. One TV fan replied: "I don’t think he will [win] sadly, Leanne really hates him for some reason, and now it’s almost guaranteed that both Charlotte and Frankie will go (if the players make the smart choice.) I think it will come down to Leanne and Jake."
Although the 'Seer' twist threatens Charlotte's position in the castle, viewers have predicted that the other Faithfuls will banish Charlotte and Francesca because they will both be untrustworthy after the reveal. If the pair is banished, Leanne, Jake and Alexander will be left to prove their faithfulness.
However, the playing ground is uneven because Alexander butted heads with Leanne in the latest episode, after she theorised that he tried to 'murder' her. Unbeknownst to the other players, Traitor Charlotte had deliberately set Alexander and Freddie up to appear suspicious. On the other hand, Jake and Leanne seem friendly.
If the final unfolds as viewers predict, the former diplomat will not be the winner.
Despite the theory that he will not be the last player standing, Alexander supporters have praised the 38-year-old for 'proving' himself throughout the series.
One Redditor replied to the thread, stating: "Alexander is the People's Princess" and added: "It's great that you have come around to Alexander. Since day one, he has repeatedly proven himself to be a smart, considered, and strategic player who leads the team with integrity."
Explaining his latest act of 'integrity', they went on to write: "He gave his coins to Francesca (his most trusted player) so that she would win The Seer power, thereby creating a Faithful alliance, and securing her place in the final alongside him. (Unfortunately, she chose to meet with Charlotte ). This will likely be their downfall."
Alexander sacrificed his coins to Francesca in the penultimate episode. However, audiences believe the 'Seer' uncovering Charlotte's identity will lead to the diplomat's "downfall."
