Olivia Attwood shares her worst moment in the TV industry saying 'I cried for three days straight'
Former Love Island star Olivia Attwood has opened up about her I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! experience saying it left her ‘crying’. The star entered the jungle in 2022, but left just days after arrival due to undisclosed medical reasons. That year, footballer Jill Scott became jungle Queen with Hollyoaks' Owen Warner and politician Matt Hancock as the runners up.
Now, Olivia has opened up to Strictly’s Pete Wicks on his Stay Relevant podcast about her exit from the show. Olivia said: “That is the worst thing that’s happened to me in this industry. I really wanted the jungle.”
Talking about the reasons why she had to leave the show, Olivia explained: “It was a big c**k up on so many levels. [It was a] medical thing essentially. I tried to fight them on it because I felt like I was fine.”

Talking about when she left, Olivia told Pete that she was in pieces. She said: “When I left, I cried. I never cry, do I? I cried for three days straight, I was dehydrated. I was devastated.”
However, Olivia’s journey might not be over as she insisted to Pete that she “would” go back into the jungle and that ITV have “left the door open” for her return. Further teasing a jungle comeback, Olivia said that “conversations have been had” about her I’m A Celeb return.
It’s not the first time Olivia has opened up about going back into the jungle as earlier this year, Olivia told The Sun: “The jungle will be getting finished at some point, one thousand per cent. I can’t rest until I’ve finished it. But probably not this year. Plus, being a contestant is not something I’m prioritising because I think I just want to really focus on being a host right now.”
Olivia missed out on this year’s I’m A Celebrity which saw fellow Love Islander Maura Higgins enter the jungle and speak about her blossoming romance with Pete Wicks. In the days after being voted out, she went into even further detail about her new romance, as she spoke to Alison Hammond on ITV's This Morning. She said: "You do forget about the cameras, and I do like to keep things private, but let’s be real, I said it. I can’t remember saying it, but I said the words, ‘I miss him’."
She added: "I do miss him, like I missed all my friends and family. Honestly, he’s been so supportive, honestly. I didn’t know if he was still in Strictly and I’m so proud of him, he’s proud of me, and I can’t wait to see him when I get back."
