Alaïa to show in New York City in September
The Alaïa Spring 2025 collection will walk on Sept. 6 in New York City, the brand announced on Instagram. A presentation of "a series of exclusive moments" will last through Sept. 8 — right in time for fashion week. Alaïa returned to New York City last year, opening a retail store 32 years after closing its original location. {Instagram}

Simone Biles is now the face of K18
K18 unveiled a multi-year partnership with Simone Biles — its longest yet — who will be the face of the hair care brand through 2026. Her first campaign video, titled "Inside-Out," is out now. {Fashionista inbox}

Hoping for a glimpse of Hailey Bieber at the Rhode pop-up
By 6 a.m. yesterday, nearly 1000 Rhode fans lined Greene Street in New York City's SoHo neighborhood with hopes of seeing Hailey Bieber at the opening of her pop-up. The New York Times' Sandra E. Damiano David named Diesel brand ambassador
Damiano David, lead vocalist of Italian rock band Måneskin, is the first global male ambassador for Diesel. Their partnership began at the 2024 Met Gala, which David attended wearing a custom look from the brand. He designed a genderless capsule collection with Creative Director Glenn Martens that will launch later this year. {Fashionista inbox}

Lux Unfiltered launches at Sephora
San Diego-based tanning brand Lux Unfiltered will be available at Sephora online starting July 2 and in stores on July 5. Beloved by Jessica Alba, Tinx, Marina Hewitt and more, it provides a skincare-focused self-tanning experience that's cruelty-free and vegan. {Fashionista inbox}

L Catterton acquires Naomi Watts' Stripes
Stripes Beauty, a menopause care-focused beauty brand founded in 2022 by Naomi Watts, was acquired by L Catterton, after its original partner, Amyris, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2023, WWD reports. It plans on ramping up support for its target community with new leadership and product,s including a sleep support supplement.{WWD/paywalled}

Kallmeyer and Barbie Style collaborate on Pride collection
Four limited-edition Barbie dolls in Kallmeyer looks (including a recreation of the custom pink suit Kate McKinnon wore to the "Barbie" movie world premiere) will be auctioned in support of GLAAD, an LGBTQ+ advocacy organization, the brand revealed.
