In her statement announcing the news, Vanessa confessed: "After a long and passionate courtship, I've finally succumbed to the allure of LBC. Actually I was powerless to resist. In the shuffle of presenters at LBC, Sangita Myska is signing off at the end of her contract, following an almost two-year long stint. LBC's Senior Managing Editor sent a warm goodbye, saying: "We'd like to thank Sangita for her fantastic contribution to LBC and we wish her every success in the future."

Vanessa will be joining the ranks of LBC's beloved presenters such as Nick Ferrari, James O'Brien, Shelagh Fogarty, Andrew Marr, Tom Swarbrick, and Matt Frei.

The news follows her recent departure from TalkTV last week after the channel revealed its shift towards streaming services expected by this summer. She was the second big-name presenter to leave the brand, following Piers Morgan's departure in February.

Reflecting on her time at TalkTV, she expressed: "I've had the most fabulous two years at TalkTV. It's been a joy and a revelation to work on a fledgling station. Among many experiences, it was my honour to break the news of the passing of Her Majesty, the Queen to viewers and broadcast live throughout that momentous time."

She added, "As TalkTV steps back from linear TV, it's time for me to also step back and focus on my other commitments and new projects ahead."
