Michelle Keegan has announced she's expecting her first child with husband Mark Wright, with the married couple sharing the news in a sweet joint Instagram post on Sunday (29 December). In the picture, the actress, 37, cradled her growing bump while dressed in a white maxi skirt and matching crop top - as husband Mark stood across from her and beamed. Captioning the picture, Michelle wrote: "2025 is going to be a special one for us…"
Michelle's followers and famous friends commented following the exciting news. Corrie star Helen Flanagan penned: "Omg darling so happy for both of you." Meanwhile, TOWIE's Sam Faiers said: "Huge congratulations," with a heart emoji.
Love Island's Ekin Su added: "Congrats both, it will be a beautiful baby." Rochelle Humes added: "Over the moon for you both".

Mark met Michelle in 2012 when he had risen to fame on The Only Way Is Essex, and she was starring as Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street. They met through mutual friends while they were each on separate holidays to Dubai. The pair then married in 2015 and have been going strong ever since, moving into their dream £3.5M Essex home in 2022.
Since purchasing their "forever home" in 2019, Michelle and Mark did huge renovations on the abode and delighted fans with updates along the way. The couple finally moved into the pad during the summer of 2022 after transforming it.
The sprawling home boasts an outdoor swimming pool, a huge patio, a balcony, gym, sauna, steam room and stylish interiors throughout. They often share snaps to Instagram showing the home, and have spent a cosy Christmas with family in the property over the last week.
Their new arrival will be surrounded by cousins, as Mark's siblings have welcomed children of their own in recent years. His sister, Jess Wright, is mum to two-year-old son Presley, who she shares with husband William Lee Kemp. While his brother, Josh, has two sons; Joshua Jr, who was born in February 2022, and Dustin, who he and wife Hollie Kane welcomed a year later.
Josh and Hollie's youngest son was born 28 weeks prematurely which meant he had to spend eight weeks in the NICU unit at their local hospital in Essex before he could go home. Congratulating his reality star brother following Mark and Michelle's announcement, football player Josh said: "Over the moon for you both and can’t wait for our boys to meet your little one" with two heart emojis.
