Michelle Keegan announces her pregnancy with sweet Instagram post
Congratulations are in order for Michelle Keegan and her husband Mark Wright as the couple announced they are expecting their first child.
The couple shared a joint photo on Instagram of them on the beach with Keegan's bump just starting to show, writing: '2025 is going to be a special one for us… 👶🏻'
Michelle married Mark in 2015 and, when gracing the cover of Women's Health in 2021, she told us she was constantly and unfairly asked about motherhood. 'I get asked about children whereas Mark wouldn’t, for example. Why haven’t I had a child? When am I going to have a child? I don’t know what they want me to say. I don’t know what the right or wrong answer is,' she said.
'I do think it’s different for a woman. It shouldn’t be, but it is,' she added.
The post, which has been liked over 1.1 million times, also attracted comments from famous friends and family, including Rochelle Humes, Olly Murs and Coleen Rooney. Marks' family, who starred with him during his time on the reality show The Only Way Is Essex, also shared well wishes, including his mum Carol who said: 'Grandma again super excited.'
Actor Michelle and and TV presenter Mark are well-known for being private about their life and relationship and haven't shared information on their due date or gender. But we look forward to any cute updates the couple want to share about their 2025 baby.
