Melania Trump usually goes for high-end designs from established labels, often wearing pieces from the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and Michael Kors.

But Tuesday saw the First Lady don a dress designed by none other than Samantha Cameron.

The green muslin shirtdress was worn by Melania for a trip to West Virginia. Of course, the First Lady swapped the ‘boring’ linen belt for a jazzier crocodile version, finishing off her look with multicoloured snakeskin heels by Christian Louboutin.

Cefinn was launched by former prime minister David Cameron’s wife, Samantha Cameron, in early 2017, with the first collection consisting of 36 tailored pieces that ranged between £100 and £300.

Still stocked in Net-a-Porter, you can pick up Melania’s green dress for £295.

Sam Cam revealed that the brand had been three years in the making after she began lessons in pattern cutting and sewing while living in 10 Downing Street.

“I don’t want to look back on my life and think, ‘You’ve always wanted to do this and you never did it,'” she told The Sunday Times Style.

Melania is one of the first major faces to don the brand. Let’s see if others follow suit.
