Meghan Markle Was Pictured With Archie At 4th of July Parade In Wyoming
Meghan Markle and son Archie are rarely captured together at public events, but one lucky royal fan managed to photograph some intimate mother-son moments between the pair, at a 4th of July parade in Wyoming.
Markle and Prince Harry, who live in Montecito, California, had travelled to Jackson Hole for a weekend with friends.
Snaps posted by an eagle-eyed onlooker show the mother-of-two, dressed casually in black jeans, a white top and fedora hat, sweetly attending to Archie, who turned three on May 6.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first-born child could be seen cheering on the parade, echoing his mother's dress code in a relaxed pinstriped shirt and trousers.
Stood behind them, Prince Harry was spotted in similar attire, comprising of a grey top and baseball cap.
'Funny story, we are in Jackson Hole WY at their 4th of July parade. The big tough guy told us twice that he was saving seats for a family…' the anonymous woman who took the photos wrote, which was shared by Instagram account @Marklenews1.
She added: 'I thought, well it must be the royal family (very sarcastic thinking!) A minute later Meghan Markle and Prince Harry walk up with little Archie!
'The big guy was the bodyguard. Meghan is gorgeous and Harry and Archie are cute.'
Markle and Prince Harry flew into the UK last month for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, marking the monarch's 70 years on throne.
The couple's official trip to the UK as a couple since leaving the UK in 2020 also saw them joined by Archie and their youngest child, one-year-old Lilibet.
Prior to the Platinum Jubilee, Her Majesty and Prince Charles were yet to meet Lilibet, and the latter hadn't seen Archie since he was just six months old.
Following their return to the UK, after Prince Harry's publicly aired security battles, a royal source spoke to Hello! about Prince Charles' 'very emotional' meeting with his grandchildren.
While at a briefing for Clarence House's annual review, the insider said: 'It was fantastic to see them.'
Referring to Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall's reaction, they added: 'The Prince and the Duchess were absolutely thrilled to see them.
'The Prince, of course, hasn’t seen his grandson Archie for a bit of time and so it was very, very, very special to have some time with him.
'He hadn’t met Lili, his granddaughter, and so to meet her was very emotional, a very, very wonderful thing.'
The source's insights came after reports swirled that Markle and Prince Harry had a secret meeting with the Queen during a pitstop to the UK, before the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.
It was during this apparent occasion that the couple were believed to have promised the Queen that she would get to hug her great-grandchildren 'in the near future'.
