The Meghan Markle fashion buys we can actually afford

Cast your mind back to 25 September 2017, when Meghan Markle first stepped out in front of the paps hand-in-hand with a rosy-cheeked Prince Harry at the Invictus Games.

Within a mere matter of minutes, the former actress’ Finlay & Co sunglasses sold out with fashion fans across the globe scouring the Internet for her court-side aesthetic.

Fast-forward to 2018 and we’re still madly in love with her Buckingham Palace-approved wardrobe. The ‘Meghan Effect‘ is already estimated to be worth a cool £500 million and is sure to overtake the Duchess of Cambridge‘s sell-out status in the near future.

But it’s hardly surprising, as Meghan’s protocol-breaking attire is a breath of fresh air in comparison to the royal family’s traditional sartorial stance. And despite her newfound status, the former ‘Suits’ star still flies the flag for the great British high street.

Though she has a penchant for Strathberry bags and has looked to Givenchy for her most recent public engagements (ahem, including her wedding day) there are still some relatable looks hanging from her Kensington Palace closet.

From her Babaton trench to that Marks and Spencer fascinator, these are Meghan’s most affordable looks to date.
