'If you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit join our Club'

From the iconic retro jingle to the strong opinions everyone holds about their favourite flavour, snacks don't come more nostalgic than a Club biscuit.

But now, there’s a whole new Club joining the classic Orange and Mint flavours and it's guaranteed to be a popular choice.

For the first time in a decade, McVitie's is launching a brand new Club flavour to join the existing line-up of the long-standing ‘lotta chocolate biscuit bar’.

Featuring its signature chunky chocolate exterior, the new snack, Salted Caramel flavour, has the same crunchy biscuit middle, but is topped with a dreamy-sounding salted caramel flavoured cream.

Perfect to satisfy those sweet and salty cravings, McVitie’s Club Salted Caramel Flavour is now available in Morrisons, Asda and Iceland, and will be hitting shelves in Co-Op, Sainsbury’s and Tesco over the coming months.

“McVitie’s Club has been a favourite among biscuit-lovers for many years, so we’re very excited to be able to offer a brand-new flavour for fans to try," says David Titman, marketing director at McVitie’s.

"The new biscuit has everything people know and love about Club, with its classic chunky chocolate exterior and crunchy biscuit middle, now with a sweet and salty twist. Salted caramel has become a hugely popular flavour over recent years, so we just couldn’t resist!”

Last year, the flavour bods at Mars Wrigley added Twix Salted Caramel, a new salted cookie bar, to their portfolio, while Nestle launched Munchies Salted Caramel Fudge and Poppets also recently added salted caramel to its range.

McVitie's aren't the only brand to launch some new flavourings into their classic foods.

Also dabbling in switching up its flavour combos, Pringles has really added two new fiery flavours to the popular Pringles Sizzl’N range - Sweet Chilli and Spicy Chorizo.

Spicy Chorizo will challenge Pringles lovers to step to the spice, while the milder Sweet Chilli will satisfy those who like to dabble with spice.

The intense Spicy Chorizo flavour boasts BBQ notes surrounded by rich cured meat taste and slightly smoked paprika, while the slightly milder Sweet Chilli has a spicy and aromatic flavour, made from a blend of fragrant spices and sweet chilli.

Meanwhile, shaking things up in the flavour mash-up department, Häagen-Dazs is soon to launch a new delicious-sounding 2 in 1 flavour, Vanilla Hazelnut & Caramel Crunch.

Adding to the popular DUO range, the side-by-side flavours create an elevated yet unexpected twist, giving a whole new meaning to ice cream decadence.
