Fans may be used to seeing Mary Earps in her goalkeeper shirt, but last night the England Lioness pulled out all the stops on the red carpet to attend British Vogue's 2023 'Forces For Change' party in London. As well as ticking off an impressive five of AW23's biggest trends in her look, Mary also seemed to be getting in the Christmas spirit early with her attire.

Wearing a festive red velvet strapless mini dress, the Manchester United keeper served major Christmas party inspo. Red has obvious connections with the holiday period, but it is also a *huge* colour trend this season. Plus, velvet is always a fave for winter.

Mary added coordinating red velvet over-the-elbow gloves to her look, finished with red satin XL bows tied at the top. As well as providing an additional festive touch, bows are emerging as a bit of a micro-trend while opera gloves are a great way to bring some added drama.

Red strappy sandals with 3D flower detailing at the toe completed the look and tapped into a *further* trend. We've seen corsages adorning everything from dresses and cardigans to accessories, with celebs including Selena Gomez and Nicole Kidman previously getting in on the look.

If our maths are correct, that brings us to a total of four trends so far. The final being tonal dressing, achieved by Mary's head-to-toe red ensemble. A look favoured by the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, tonal dressing is a great way to look pulled together and chic while requiring actually very little.

Yep, a style success for Mary if you ask us! Mrs Clause could never.
