There’s no way that Mary Berry could ever create a sub-par red velvet or lemon drizzle cake.
But pasta sauce? Her fans are probably beginning to suspect that savoury dishes aren’t her forte as viewers were left horrified by her recipe for spaghetti bolognese.
Viewers accused her of “breaking every Italian kitchen rule” and said they were “shocked and appalled” by the ingredients in her dish – namely wine wine and double cream.
But Berry is far from the only celebrity chef to have shocked her fans with her, um, unconventional ideas.
