Marchesa on the red carpet: Celebrities wearing Georgina Chapman's designs

Katie Holmes, Naomi Watts, Chrissy Teigen, Rita Ora, Sofia Vergara, Viola Davis and Heidi Klum all have one thing in common. They’re all celebrities that have worn the high-end womenswear line Marchesa, founded by Keren Craig and Harvey Weinstein’s estranged wife Georgina Chapman, on multiple occasions to high profile events.

And you would be hard pressed to argue that they didn’t all look spectacular in the creations.

From embellished A-line skirts to decadent gowns with tulle trains, this is one brand that knows how to ensure a celebrity stands out on the red carpet.

Even Dame Helen Mirren and the Duchess of Cambridge have acknowledged the wow-factor appear of the label’s looks and each worn a Marchesa dress in public. Mirren, at the premiere of her film ‘Collateral Beauty’, and the Duchess at the opening night of theatre production ’42nd Street’.

Other stars who’ve turned to the NYC-based brand, founded by Brits Craig and Chapman in 2004, include Jane Fonda, Kaley Cuoco, Gwen Stefani and Kate Hudson.
