There's no one quite as influential as Huda Kattan when it comes to full-face glam. If that's your kinda lewk (we're talking high-coverage foundation, fluffy lashes, sculpted brows, the lot) – she truly is the OG at mastering the vibe.

Makeup has always been deep-rooted in Huda. She started her career as a makeup artist before becoming a blogger and Youtuber – ahh, mems. From the beginning, her makeup aesthetic has been 'more-is-more', with her most popular tutorials demonstrating how to perfect winged eyeliner, plump up your lips or chisel your cheekbones.

Then, like all great MUAs, in comes the namesake brand – and we count our lucky stars that Huda Beauty was born. It debuted in Sephora, Dubai, back in 2013 with a set of false lashes, which were inspired by Huda and her sister, Mona Kattan, struggling to find a pair that was, let's face it, big enough for their liking.

Clearly a success, Huda Beauty has grown to be one of the most hyped makeup brands going, ofc with a few celeb followers too – ahem, the Kardashian clan obvs. As for followers? We're talking 54.7 million Insta followers and counting, yep that kind of success.

A peek at Cosmo’s favourite Huda Beauty products

Today, Huda Beauty's range is extensive, spanning across the whole spectrum of eye, face and lip cosmetics. Take a lil scroll through the site and you'll see that everything is playful, colourful pigments are not feared, lipsticks are glossy and foundations are full-coverage.

Since, Huda has launched her skincare brand Wishful in 2020, while Mona founded the fragrance brand Kayali that sits under the Huda Beauty name. Fyi, Mona recently parted ways with Huda Beauty but will continue to lead Kayali as CEO.

Not a stranger to a viral product either, the latest Huda Beauty Ube range has blown-up on TikTok. The purple-toned collection is inspired by an ube cake – a popular Filipino cake made from purple yams. It features a lip gloss and blush, but the setting powder is a real hot commodity RN. The shade (described as 'electric lilac') is designed to brighten and give a blurred rosy flush under the cheeks.

Huda Beauty: Face Favourites

Huda Beauty, Easy Blur Primer

Easy Blur Primer

Sephora
Sephora

$30.00 at sephora.co.uk

“Honestly, if I’m doing a full face of makeup, I can’t really survive an entire day oil-free without priming first (and locking in with a setting spray). This primer is one of the best I’ve tried in a long time. Don’t let the pink hue fool you, this goes on clear and melts into the skin. I love how light it feels, and it doesn’t pill either. The texture is a bit gel-like but it’s silicone-free and is loaded with glycerin for extra hydration, so my skin feels smooth and looks blurred pre-foundation application.” – Keeks Reid, Beauty Director.

Huda Beauty, Easy Blur Foundation

“When it comes to foundations, I’m fussy. No – scrap that. When it comes to any makeup product, I’m fussy and Huda’s Easy Blur Foundation exceeds my standards. Impressive, much? Yeah, well, thanks to its airbrush finish, my pores (that are as big as Regina George’s, FYI) are non-existent! An Instagram filter could never. Not only is it a winner thanks to its flawless, foolproof, and buildable finish, but its skin-loving prospects, too. Think: Niacinamide in its ingredients list and a non-comedogenic, fragrance-free formula. In other words, it’s a sensitive, acne-prone girlie’s dream.” – Lia Mappoura, Beauty Writer.

Huda Beauty, #Faux Filter Color Corrector

£26.00 at sephora.co.uk

“I’m not quite sure how I concealed without correcting in the past but luckily, I no longer use Facebook, so that evidence will die with that digital footprint. Balancing the darkness of my undereyes with this colour corrector has been game changing. Day to day, I don’t wear foundation, I just use this colour corrector in papaya and concealer and it’s honestly enough to make me look and feel more put together. The only issue I do have is the packaging, as it tends to leak a bit so I avoid packing this for trips or for post-gym makeup to save my beauty bag.” – Keeks Reid, Beauty Director.

Huda Beauty, Tantour Bronzer and Contour

Tantour Contour & Bronzer Cream

Sephora
Sephora

£31.00 at sephora.co.uk

“Lia may be fussy when it comes to foundation (read above, please) but my standards are exceptionally high when it comes to cream bronzer. As a fan of the tan, I use bronzer every day not only for enjoyment, but to match the colour of my face to my St Moritz-ed neck. Tantour makes it SO easy. The formula is one of the butteriest ones going. It seamlessly blends into my skin and, depending on where you apply it, can be used to bronze and contour. The pigment is delightful, too.” – Clare Stephenson, Senior Ecommerce Beauty Writer.

Huda Beauty, Blush Filter

£24.00 at sephora.co.uk

“This blush clings on more than that annoying person who keeps viewing your Insta stories – we all know one. Seriously, this stuff stays, so as soon as you dab it on, get going with your blending brush. Luckily, it blends easily so I use a dense brush to stipple it into my cheeks. The finish isn't dewy like many liquid formulas, but gives a soft-focus radiance that looks like I've just stepped in from a wintery walk – not that I ever do that (burr).” – Clare Stephenson, Senior Ecommerce Beauty Writer.

Huda Beauty, Easy Bake Setting Powder

Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder

Sephora
Sephora

£34.00 at sephora.co.uk

“Being one of Huda's latest launches, the Easy Bake Setting Powder from the Ube collection is the only item new to me in this edit – and TBH, I was skeptical. A purple powder? Me? Never.

I'm a huge fan of the OG Easy Bake for setting my under eye, brightening and keeping my makeup in place, so I had faith! I packed it under my eye and after sweeping away the residue, it left a gorgeous icy-pink hue that instantly awakened the look of my eyes. You should have felt how soft my skin was too – baby's butt kind. It may look all cutesy with its purple pigment, but this is far from a gimmick.” – Clare Stephenson, Senior Ecommerce Beauty Writer.

Huda Beauty: Eye Favourites

Huda Beauty 1 Coat Wow!

1 Coat Wow!

£17.00 at sephora.co.uk

“Mascara – it's one of those makeup bag staples. I use one most days, but I only rotate between a few to give me long, fluttery and bold lashes. As you'd guess, 1 Coat Wow! Is one of them. TBH, I was initially tempted by the name – and yes, it really does work in one swipe, which makes my morning routine 10x quicker – but the result is what keeps me coming back. The fluffy wand grabs onto each lash, lifting and coating it in a jet black pigment to really make my eyes pop. To get as much impact as poss, I wiggle the brush from the root up and it effortlessly coats my lashes with minimal effort needed.” – Clare Stephenson, Senior Ecommerce Beauty Writer.

Huda Beauty: Lip Favourites

Huda Beauty Faux Filler Gloss

Faux Filler Extra Shine Lip Gloss

Sephora
Sephora

£17.50 at sephora.co.uk

“As Endor once said – or rather, sang – ‘pump it up’ with Huda’s Faux Filler gloss. And by ‘it’ we very much mean those kissers... So, if you’re searching for an au naturel alternative to Kylie Jenner-like lips, look no further. The formula is smooth on application and adds a generous flush of pigment to the lips, not to mention its USP: shine! Thanks to moisturising collagen (derived from plants) and vitamin E, your fullest, juiciest-looking (yet, not sticky nor claggy!) pout is just a swipe away.” – Lia Mappoura, Beauty Writer.

Huda Beauty Lip Contour

Lip Contour 2.0

£16.10 at sephora.co.uk

“If velvety, matte liners that create the illusion of an XXL pout is your thang, Huda Beauty's Lip Contour will be right up your street. I swear every handbag I own has one of these in the side pocket, for many reasons. It's one of the creamiest pencils I've tried, making application a breeze. It lasts a long time without budging – and as a girl who loves to snack, I can attest this fully. And the soft-focus, velvet finish makes my lips look plump and fuller. For ref, my go-to shade is Pinky Brown for a my-lips-but-better pigment.” – Clare Stephenson, Senior Ecommerce Beauty Writer.
