Need a pick-me-up during New York Fashion Week?
Maje, a cult-favorite French brand, has teamed up with French café and bakery Maman to create the Pain au Chocolat latte, inspired by the French pastry, as well as a bespoke cup in Maje’s toile de Jouy print from the fall collection. The latte and cup are available exclusively in the Maman SoHo and Meatpacking cafés for the month of September.

The SoHo Maman location will feature the print on windows, and in Meatpacking with a small installation inside the space.
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Maman, a brand that aligns with Maje in our common values of family and quality,” said Maddie Guthrie Ashton, North America senior brand director at Maje. “With multiple shared communities between the brands, it feels like a natural partnership. It’s been a fun and interesting process to infuse a touch of Maje, and a print that we love so dearly, into Maman and bring this vision to life.”
Elisa Marshall, cofounder and owner of Maman, added, “We are so looking forward to our upcoming collaboration with Maje, just in time for fashion month,” she said. “Their attention to detail in fashion mirrors our own design-forward ethos, making Maje the perfect pair for Maman’s menu, especially beverage. We can’t wait for customers to try the limited-edition Pain au Chocolat latte, served in intricately designed cups and sleeves featuring Maje’s toile de Jouy print.”
Maje has nearby locations in Meatpacking and SoHo, a well as the West Village, if clients want to purchase pieces from the fall collection in the toile de Jouy print.
This collaboration will be available in Maman SoHo and Meatpacking locations from Sept. 10 through Sept. 30, while supplies last.
Maman opened its doors in SoHo in October 2014, and has quickly grown to 34 locations across multiple cities, including Manhattan; Washington, D.C.; Jersey City, N.J.; and Toronto, among others.
Maje, which started in Paris in 1998, is sold in 40 countries with 620 points of sale.
