Britain's Got Talent's Stavros Flatley child star unrecognisable with huge tattoos and 2 kids

Lagi Demetriou, best known for his performances on Britain's Got Talent as one half of Stavros Flatley, has undergone a remarkable transformation since his days on the ITV talent show. Alongside his father Demi, Lagi captured the hearts of audiences with their Greek-infused Lord of the Dance routine, complete with leather trousers and comical blonde wigs, back in 2009.

Despite their unforgettable audition, Lagi and Demi fell short of clinching the top prize, losing out to dance troupe Diversity. However, they returned a decade later for the all-stars Champions series, making it to the finale once again and securing second place. Since then, Lagi has taken a step back from the spotlight, relocating to Cyprus where he has pursued a new venture as the owner of a barber shop in Paphos and has his own Podcast called CoolerBox.

As well as a selection of other tattoos, the boy we remember as cute a 12-year-old now sports a full dark beard.

His father revived Stavros Flatley with his nephew Samson, but Lagi hasn't entirely hung up his dancing shoes. In a 2019 interview with MailOnline, Lagi revealed Simon Cowell's encouragement not to quit dancing forever, hinting at a possible return to the stage for special shows. He told the publication: “When we got to The Champions, I thought this was the right time to leave. But Simon Cowell told me not to quit forever. So I will return for some shows.

"We've done this for 10 years for a joke. We've done so many amazing things but what is there left to do? We've done the Royal Variety, we've played in China, Monaco – everywhere. So when we got to The Champions, I thought this was the right time to leave."

Now, Lagi's focus has shifted to his family life. In 2020, he proposed to his partner Annika Crawford after five years of dating on New Year's Eve, followed by their wedding in the summer of 2022.

Their family expanded with the arrival of their first child, daughter Xenia, in March 2022, and they welcomed another daughter, Demetria Demetriou, the following year, inspired by Lagi's father's name, Demetrios.

Announcing their adorable arrival, Lagi and Annika posted a black-and-white photo of their baby alongside their daughter Xenia’s hands. Demetrios and Demetria are the Latinised male and female forms of the Ancient Greek name Dēmḗtrios AKA Demetris - meaning 'devoted to goddess Demeter'.

Back in July of last year, hairdresser Lagi confirmed they were expecting Demetria in posts across his Instagram and TikTok platforms.

Posting a video montage for his 27,000 followers, the star shared footage from his stunning coastal wedding in September 2022, alongside edited clips of the couple with Xenia.

The video ended with Annika revealing her growing baby bump, confirming baby number two was well on the way. Captioning the post, Andreas wrote: “Guess we do this all again, couldn’t do it with anyone better.”

And in September, Lagi posted a tribute to his wife and family the second anniversary of his and Annika's wedding.

"Happy 2 years anniversary baby girl thank you for everything and the two little lunatics you have given me," he said.
