I’m A Celeb star breaks silence on show stint - as ITV are in ‘crisis talks’ after backlash
GK Barry has broken her silence on her I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! appearance, after it was revealed that ITV are in ‘crisis talks’ after an episode of her podcast came under fire. GK Barry, whose real name is Grace Keeling, faced backlash when the social media influencer and content creator, 25, sparked outrage after inviting adult content creator Bonnie Blue onto her podcast, Saving Grace.
During their conversation, Bonnie openly discussed sleeping with hundreds of "barely legal" men aged 18 and 19 during university Freshers Week, then sharing her exploits on her OnlyFans account. Fans have criticised GK for hosting Bonnie, arguing that the content is 'harmful' to her young, impressionable audience and glorifies such behaviour, reports the Mirror.
Now, GK has said the I’m A Celeb jungle “looks like absolute hell” ahead of flying out to Australia. The TikTok star told the Mirror: “I hate bugs. I hate sleeping outside. I've never done it. And so I think that would be a lot. But I feel like it would also probably be good viewing for other people." Amid the controversy, it's reported that I'm A Celeb is facing an 'absolute PR nightmare'. "I'm A Celeb is a family show and they can't have anyone on there who agrees with sleeping with barely 18 years olds," a source told The Sun.

They added: "The top brass have held crisis talks as to how they handle the backlash with GK enters the show. GK has deleted the video but the furore hasn't gone away." OK! has contacted ITV and Grace's representatives for comment. Content creator Bonnie has been incredibly open about her experiences, and she raised eyebrows as she discussed her adventures, which included a sexual encounter with a father and son.
Speaking during her appearance on Grace's podcast, she revealed: "When the son first saw me with his dad, I thought he was going to tell me off but he wasn't, he was jealous and wanted to join in." In efforts to promote the podcast episode, GK shared snippets on the podcast episode TikTok but has since taken them down following the significant backlash.
One TikToker said: "Now she has deleted the videos from the Saving Grace TikTok account without even acknowledging the damage she has done... I am so so disappointed in her." Another penned: "This is beyond disgraceful."
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! will return to ITV1 and ITVX from Sunday 17 November, being broadcast nightly at 9pm live from Australia.
