I'm a Celeb 2024 line-up and start date confirmed as fans hail 'greatest ever' cast
I’m A Celeb is returning to screens in a matter of days - and we’re going to tell you everything you need to know ahead of the new series kicking off live in Australia, from all the stars who are set to take part to when to tune in and who the hosts are going to be (yes Ant and Dec, but there are some new spin-off hosts too).
First things first - who’s going to be appearing? Well, ITV have not confirmed any of the names but thanks to a series of leaks - which tend to turn out to be bang-on year after year - we know many of the likely names. And the cast are already being hailed as the great line-up that’s ever been assembled for the long-running hit.
But who else is going to be crossing that alarmingly rickety looking bridge over in Queensland? Let’s take a look at the heavily-rumoured names set to take centre-stage on our screens this autumn - plus everything else you need to know about 2024's show...

Who’s doing I’m A Celeb 2024?
Coleen Rooney, super-WAG and footballer Wayne’s adoring wife, is leading the line-up after agreeing what is thought to be the biggest deal in jungle history. She is thought to have tempted ITV bosses into laying down the biggest payday I’m A Celeb has ever seen - reportedly surpassing the £1.5million that Nigel Farage is thought to have made last year.
At that price, bosses are surely hoping there is some piping-hot gossip about her long-running clash with Rebekah Vardy - herself a former I’m A Celeb star - aired for the cameras.
She is expected to be joined on the show by Maura Higgins, 33, one of the biggest names to come out of Love Island. It comes after Tommy Fury, with whom she famously shared a series, pulled out of appearing in the jungle, reportedly so he could fight KSI.
However, there will be a boxer in the jungle. Barry McGuigan, the oldest star of the series at 63, is expected to appear alongside Loose Women veteran Jane Moore, McFly star Danny Jones and singer and one-time X Factor judge Tulisa, 36.

There are always soap stars, with Coronation Street ’s Alan Halsall, 42 - who plays Tyrone Dobbs - taking a break from the cobbles to appear.
There’s also Strictly Come Dancing legend Oti Mabuse, former Strictly star Melvin Odoom, YouTuber GK Barry, 25, Radio 1’s Dean McCullough and the Reverend Richard Coles, 62, formerly of Gogglebox and 1980s pop group The Communards.
Who are the hosts?
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will be back as hosts as has been the case since I’m A Celeb was first dreamt up by a group of bods at London Weekend Television back in 2002 (well, except for that year where Holly Willoughby stood in for Ant in 2018).
However there are also some spin-off hosts joining after the old Extra Camp format, which was canned in 2019, makes a return (sort of) which a new name - I’m A Celebrity Unpacked.
It will be hosted by Sam Thompson and Joel Dommett, both of whom have appeared on the show, with Capital DJ Kemi Rodgers.
Masked Singer host Joel, who was beaten to the crown by Scarlett Moffatt, before fronting Extra Camp until it was cancelled, said: “I feel like this is the show that started my career in a way, 2016 I came second and since then it's grown and grown, and I've kept on working, to my surprise and everyone else's.”
When does it start?
The show will return to ITV1 and ITVX from Sunday 17 November, being broadcast nightly at 9pm live from Australia. If previous series are anything to go by, the run will be three weeks, but only a handful of stars are going to make it that far.
