Lucy Mecklenburgh reveals 'secret' life update she's been hiding for months
Lucy Mecklenburgh has made a big career announcement this week, sharing that she has been busy working on a new 'summer shred' programme for her fitness app, RWL.
The former TOWIE star, who began the workout platform over a decade ago, took to Instagram to share a Reel and inform fans of the new plan, admitting that she's been keeping it a secret for 'months'. The Reel showed clips of Lucy travelling across Europe to capture workout content, going over the exercises herself and working out the programme with her team.
Admitting that it has even helped her get into the 'best shape' since welcoming her children Roman and Lilah with fiancé Ryan Thomas, Lucy wrote: "It’s the “not-so-secret” secret that I’ve been keeping for MONTHS now. AD | My fitness app @rwl is launching it’s brand new summer programme Summer Shred in just a few days. I’ve been a huge part of this one to make sure it not only gets you incredible results, it’s also fun AND you never repeat the same workout twice.
"All the workouts are 30 minutes long and are full body, weighted workouts you can do at home or at the gym I have tested the entire programme and it’s honestly gotten me the fittest I have been since having my two children, and I loved every minute of it."
She concluded: "It’s out for you to start on Monday, but you can sign up for early bird access to the app now and unlock lots of free recipes and meal plans plus hundreds of home workouts to warm you up for the Summer Shred start date."
Fans were delighted with the news as they took to the comment section to share their joy, with RWL boasting just under 350K followers on Instagram.
Lucy's fiancé Ryan is a fan too, losing a stone in just six weeks when embarking on the plan back in 2020 as he got into shape after welcoming their son Roman.
The news comes after Lucy and Ryan enjoyed a family holiday to Dubai recently, making it a trip to remember as they stayed at the lavish Rixos The Palm Hotel, where rooms cost a whopping £1,000 per night.
They shared a variety of snaps from the trip, appearing to enjoy the quality time with their children, as Ryan even teased having another baby during the trip. Sharing a selfie with Lucy and his children, the actor wrote: "It's moments like this I think we should have another one."
However, the Dancing on Ice champion kept followers on their toes by swiftly adding, "joking!" at the end.
