Gogglebox fans all say the same thing as Stephen and Daniel Lustig-Webb reunite after split
Former Gogglebox stars Stephen and Daniel Lustig-Webb have reunited after recently announcing their divorce. Hairdresser Stephen has shared a photograph of the pair together revealing "he's back" in their salon working.
Fans are delighted to see the two getting on so well as colleagues and friends, despite splitting up after six years of marriage. Commenting under the post, one fan said: "Glad to see that your still friends but sad to your not together anymore. Wishing you all the best."
While another added: "Aww just love this and the friendship you are keeping together although parting." A third commented: "Great to see you both and very happy to hear you are still good friends", and another said: "Miss you both so much, PLEASE come back to Gogglebox,"
Stephen and Daniel revealed they filed for divorce after in April this year. They appeared on the much loved Channel 4 show together, reacting to the news, TV shows and films from their sofas, since they were married in 2018.
Stephen and Daniel's split comes just months after the pair announced they would be leaving the show, following Stephen’s mother Pat, who appeared briefly on the show, dying in January this year. Despite their split, the couple, who married after a two-year engagement, have said they hope to remain close friends.
They also run a salon together called Lustig & Webb Hairdressing in the village of Hurstierpoint in Sussex. Daniel and Stephen tied the knot during a ceremony held at the Chateau de Lisse in Lot-et-Garonne, France in 2018.
The following year, Daniel joined his husband on Gogglebox. Stephen was part of the original lineup of Gogglebox in 2013 with with a previous partner Chris Ashby-Steed.
Christopher was then replaced by Stephen's mother Pat Webb during a stint in 2017 throughout series 10 to 12, until the following year.
Writing on Instagram about leaving Gogglebox, Stephen announced: "After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox.
"We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities. We would like to thank Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for letting us be part of this amazing, funny and heartwarming show.
"We are also extremely grateful to the cast and crew, or Gogglebox family, as we call them and of course the fans, thank you for all of your love and support over the years."
