Love Island fans are convinced that dumped Islanders Ronnie and Harriett could be brought back into the show as part of a surprise twist by the show’s bosses.

Viewers were shocked when the couple were dropped from the villa on Friday night’s show following the public vote, but many are convinced that we’ll be seeing more of the duo as they could pop up during the Casa Amor twist that will take place on Sunday 30 June.

On Sunday’s show, audiences will see the new arrivals who are sure to shake things up at the villa, and possibly split up some of the current loved up couples. Although the Casa Amor bombshells consist of 12 new contestants looking for love, fans taking to social media are convinced that Ronnie, 27, and Harriett, 24, could be brought back to the villa with them.

“What if Ronnie and Harriett are heading to casa amor rn,” wrote one fan following their dumping from the villa. “Ronnie and Harriett absolutely have to be coming back in to Casa Amor,” agreed another.

A third commented: “The producers aren’t stupid. Harriett’s too big of a personality to let her slip through the cracks and everyone and their dog knows Ronnie will do a madness in Casa Amor. They’re not going anywhere.”

Another viewer added: “Maybe Harriett and Ronnie are opening the gates at Casa Amor? Sorry i’m still surprised. Two big characters on a dead season gone? They are warming up the beds in casa don’t worry.”

Following their dumping from Love Island, Harriet admitted she blamed Ronnie’s behaviour for their swift exit. The public had been voting for their favourite couple, and the pair had the least amount of votes so were told it was time to leave.

While Ronnie said he’d “had a blinder” in the villa, Harriett said she was “so confused” and went on to say their exit was “down to Ronnie’s behaviour.” In her exit interview, Harriett was asked why she thought viewers didn’t vote for them as a couple.

She answered: "It’s hard because me and Ronnie have been in such a good place this last week. Maybe just the journey it took for us to get there. Obviously we had our date and re-coupled and stuff. But he was getting himself involved in all of these triangles!"

Ronnie was more laid back about the lack of votes he and Harriett had received, saying: “"There isn’t too much thought into that for me; people vote and that’s the name of the game isn’t it."
