Love Island All Stars twist as ITV bosses issue announcement days before launch show

Love Island All Stars is set to return to our TV screens in just a few days and a massive twist awaits for the iconic Islanders.

The ITV2 dating spin off show, edition brings back former contestants for another shot at finding love, with a major shake-up planned for the inaugural night.

So far, 12 stars have been confirmed to enter the villa when the show kicks off on Monday. Taking part are Gabby Allen, Curtis Pritchard, Kaz Crossley, Nas Majeed, Catherine Agbaje, Olivia Hawkins, Ronnie Vint, Scott Thomas, Luca Bish, India Reynolds, Marcel Somerville and Elma Pazar. Maya Jama will return to host.

These Islanders, who have graced series two to 11 of the ITV2 dating sensation, were previously able to step forward for their crushes and select their own partners.

However it has since been revealed that in the All Stars edition, it's the fans who will determine the initial pairings on Day One.

This means viewers at home can play Cupid and match potential soulmates. On the flip side, they can stir the pot by pairing ex-lovers like Gabby Allen and Marcel Somerville.

Voting commenced at 7.30am today, with fans casting their votes via ITV's Love Island app. Producers also employed a viewer vote to determine the first batch of couples for the inaugural All Stars season.

It comes as Elma Pazar recently has confessed to fibbing about her age during her stint on the ITV2 hit dating series. The Essex lash technician who graced our screens in the 2019 edition of the show was initially paired with Anton Danyluk.

On the Love Island Morning After podcast, hosted by Kem Cetinay and Arielle Free, Elma revealed her age deception.

She disclosed: "I lied about my age on Love Island. I tell everyone I'm 23, it's a real issue," before admitting, "I'm 26, but now everyone knows it because they said they couldn't lie for me."
