Inside Love Island Marcel's marriage split as ex-wife breaks silence on All Stars stint
Marcel Somerville is set to appear on the second series of ITV2 spin-off show Love Island All Stars in just a few days.
The iconic dating show will see Maya Jama returning to host again in South Africa as islanders from past seasons returned for another chance at love.
One contestant who could cause a major reaction from viewers is none other than Marcel. The 39-year-old, who appeared on series three back in 2017, came in fourth place with Gabby Allen. The pair kept their romance going outside the villa, however they split after he cheated on her during a holiday.
Marcel later found love with Rebecca Vieira and they went on to tie the knot in August 2022. However, the TV star moved out of the family home and deleted all of her presence on social media in March last year after she was accused of having an affair with a US pop star.

Days later she admitted to "cheating" on the Blazin Squad star and issued a grovelling apology. Since signing up for the ITV dating show again, Love Island fans have been left shocked to find out Marcel is actually still married to wife Rebecca but they are in the process of divorcing, however, it's unclear as to when they began the divorcing process.
Speaking to MailOnline, he said: "I've gone through a little bit of a crazy time in my life. I'll talk more about it at a later time, as I'm not really ready to talk about what's going on right now. We're working through the situation to get the best outcome that we can."
He was even asked if he would consider going on Love Island All Stars at the time, to which he replied: "I'm married, so doing it isn’t in my view right now, and it wouldn't have been at the time."
As news broke that Marcel and Gabby will be reunited on Love Island All Stars, Rebecca took to social media to share a series of snaps and break her silence.
Showing off her stunning looks following a game of football, the star took to Instagram and posted a selfie as her dark locks ran down her shoulders and she wore glam makeup.
Following the snap, Rebecca shared a quote that read: "What makes you beautiful is that you stayed soft in a life that tried to harden you."
Love Island All Stars season two will premiere on Monday, January 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
