Love Island brutally dumps two more stars from villa in unaired scenes

This year's Love Island has kept viewers on the edge of their seat - but things are set to get even more chaotic as two Islanders have reportedly been dumped from the villa.

In scenes expected to air on Sunday night, two contestants will be dramatically axed and the exit has already been filmed. And, according to The Sun, a show insider claimed the latest dumping is particularly brutal as Maya Jama makes her return to the villa.

"It's savage," said the source. "Jaws hit the floor and the islanders were left reeling. They didn't see this coming and the way is play out is pretty rough on them all. There are tears around the firepit and lots of emotion in the air."

This announcement comes after host Maya was reportedly forced to cut her Paris trip with boyfriend Stormzy short after a last minute change in the schedule of the hit ITV2 show.

However, as Maya jetted back to Majorca, producers had a last-minute change of heart and decided to let the island drama unfold without interference, following an intense 'suck and blow' challenge that aired on Thursday night.

Cutting her romantic getaway short for no reason, a source explained the reason behind the change to The Sun, saying: "Following the explosive suck and blow game on Wednesday - shown on Thursday night - basically there is so much going on with the Islanders, execs decided to just let it all play out."

"Introducing Maya into the scenario with the results of the dumping felt like we'd be interrupting a load of drama while it was in full swing so we tore up the schedule."

Understandably this left viewers confused as on the previous night (Wednesday) voting opened for fans to pick their favourite couples, putting those with the fewest votes at risk of being dumped from the island.

However, some were left feeling disappointed when the voting results weren't revealed the next day. Thursday night's Love Island left fans in a state of confusion, causing quite the commotion on Twitter as one viewer complained: "There was a voting yesterday but did they get to it today??".

While another grumbled: "The episodes about to end so that means we won't see the voting results this episode. This episode has been very boring like where are the producers???"
