ITV Loose Women fans in disbelief as Kelle Bryan snaps at Christine Lampard
ITV's Loose Women saw things turn rather icy when Christine Lampard coaxed Kelle Bryan into revealing her embarrassing story.
The much-loved quartet Christine, Kelle, Judi Love and Coleen Nolan occupied the hot seats on Wednesday's episode of the beloved daytime programme, engaging with current issues and the latest news headlines. Part of the discussion had the stars reminiscing about the worst presents they've ever received. Judi recounted a bizarre instance of being gifted a pair of "Spanx" by an ex-beau.
However, when Christine directed the spotlight towards Kelle for her most embarrassing gift experience, the atmosphere turned slightly tense. The Eternal singer didn't seem too comfortable with Christine's inquiry, hinting that she'd prefer not to unveil this anecdote.
Replying to her host in jest, Kelle retorted: "Oh, well only on national television. Thanks, Christine," reports the Mirror. Despite the initial resistance, Kelle played along and told her tale.
She disclosed about once mistakenly gifting her daughter's friend an item, which they had previously given her daughter - and still had the tag attached! Her co-stars and audience responded with hearty laughter as Kelle expressed her surprise at the mix-up.
As the four women shared their personal experiences, some viewers took to social media to express their scepticism about the authenticity of the stories. One user on the platform formerly known as Twitter commented: "I don't believe a word of that shapewear story."
Another viewer sarcastically wrote: "No scripts or made-up stories involved on this show." A third viewer observed: "If you watch their body language and eyes you can tell they are making this s**t up." While a fourth chimed in with: "[It] didn't happen Kelle."
This isn't the first time a Loose Woman has been caught off guard. Recently, Natalie Cassidy called out panellist Charlene White for discussing a private conversation on air.
The EastEnders actress was on Loose Women to talk about her late co-star Barbara Windsor. Charlene remarked: "She could let you know she wasn't happy with just one look if you came in after a big night out when you were working the next day."
Natalie responded with a playful jab: "Thank you for that! It was a private conversation in the green room! ".
