Lisa Armstrong posts another cryptic quote as ex Ant McPartlin spotted out with baby son

Lisa Armstrong has posted a new cryptic message online, sharing a quote from poet c.r. Elliott that hints at her current feelings on the same day that ex-husband Ant McPartin was photographed out with his wife and baby.

“Sometimes you just have to let people be…” it begins.

“Be who they are, do what they do, act how they act, say what they say, let them live their version of reality, let them sit with their lies and delusion while you sit with the truth in peace.”

The ex-wife of Ant McPartlin, Lisa has often taken to social media to share emotional posts, including a video captioned: “What is meant for you will find its way to you,” and “Don’t ever let anyone dim your light.”

After Ant and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett welcomed their son Wilder Patrick McPartlin in May, Lisa posted a poignant message to her 170k followers on the same day that read: “Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you’ve fought, the moments you’ve had to humble yourself, the times you’ve wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength.”

Lisa was with Ant for more than two decades before they announced their split six years ago. Their break up followed Ant’s personal struggles including issues with alcohol and prescription drugs. After separating from Lisa, Ant began a relationship with Anne-Marie, and the couple were married in 2021.

Ant and Anne-Marie were spotted out with baby Wilder on Saturday 29 June. While Anne-Marie pushed Wilder’s pram, Ant looked happy wrangling the family’s three dogs – Hurley, whom he shares with Lisa, and Maltipoo pups Milo and Bumble. The three pooches feature on Ant’s meaningful tattoo on his upper arm that is of a large tree within which the names of his step-daughters Amzie, Daisy and Poppy are entwined with those of his beloved dogs.

His tattoo was first displayed in the announcement photo Ant posted following Wilder’s birth on 14 May. He shared an image of an intimate moment of him holding baby Wilder that was captioned: “"Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick McPartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess. "

Lisa, who is head of make up and hair on Strictly Come Dancing, has faced tougher times, including a fire at her home and a heart-breaking split from her boyfriend James Green.
